Beneath Two Skies

About

Welcome to Beneath Two Skies, a blog about more than just the game. I’m Rhoelyn (aka Angie), and it’s my pleasure to be your guide and maybe a resource to help better both of your lives.

I have played World of Warcraft since the days of the closed Beta, when a persistant husband convinced me that I would definitely not get stuck in a seductive and exciting game.

Boy, was he wrong!

Four years later, I am still an avid WoW player. I have a smooth half-dozen active alts and a T6-level raiding main toon. I am a guild officer, a raid organizer, and a general WoW socialite who can still put the smack down on ugly Gronns and errant Sindorei.

My passion is the art in the game, both how it is displayed in beautiful skyscapes and lovely models and how it is used to inspire artist, writers, craftsmen and every other player that comes to the World of Warcraft.

That said, I still take pride in knowing the game and knowing how to play it well. As a priest, I’ve healed in Blackwing Lair and melted Kael’thas’ face. As a druid, I’ve tanked Gruul with my face and taken a few bites out of VoidReaver (not as easy as it sounds… the guy’s made of metal!). I also sling fireballs, Mark targets, Consecrate the slow snot out of baddies, and drop totem forests. Learning every class and every tradeskill is part of the fun of the game.

I’m here to have fun. I’m here to share my observations and learn about yours. I’m here to enjoy the best that the people in the game can show me.

I’m here for you. Show me what you’ve got. :)

About Beneath Two Skies

Living in two environments simultaneously is the unique conflict of the modern MMO gamer, and it's a challenge of epic proportions. (And you thought Illidan was tough?!) Here, we want to explore the points of convergence between our two worlds, from creative inspiration that artists and craftsmen can find in the game to tips and tricks that can help players take care of themselves and their 'real' lives while still enjoying the game. How can you show your love for both the World of Warcraft and the world of your craft? How can you take good care of your toon and take good care of yourself?
